These lands are cared for with intention and
respect. Preserve Land Stewards have rebuilt
simple footbridges across Harbor Brook
and Jordan Stream at the Cobblestone
Bridge, thoughtfully placed to protect sensitive areas while inviting visitors to move more
deeply into the forest. Each crossing reflects
a careful balance between access and preservation, allowing people to experience the
land without diminishing its integrity.
Together, these forests, streams, trails, and
carriage roads form the living context for our
gardens and our community. Bordering Acadia National Park, the Preserve’s natural lands
are not only places of beauty and exploration,
but also foundational to our mission to conserve, care for, and share landscapes that inspire connection.
